Forty years ago (1986.03.29), Falco's (1957-1998) Rock Me Amadeus was #1 on the charts... 

I didn't know this, but there are actually several versions of the song recorded.

• There was the original version which sounded more like a rock song with German rapping
• There's also the Saleri Remix, which was the one that seemed to be more popular in the US at the time. It also included a brief history timeline of Mozart in the beginning and had more of a dance feel to it.
• And of course, then there's the classic Simpson's version sung by Phil Hartman (aka Troy McClure).
